Volunteers are needed! Our Fall grounds cleanup day is set for Saturday, Nov. 7th from 9 AM to 12 noon. Someone will be there starting at 8 AM, so please feel free to come for whatever time fits your schedule. The church has plenty of rakes and tarps, but please bring any blowers etc. that you wish. All volunteers are appreciated!

Coffee and snacks will be available.

Rain date will be Sat. Nov. 14th.

Please stop in and donate blood to save lives. We will host our Fall Blood Drive on Tuesday October 20th from 1-pm. Walk-ins are welcome.

We are participating in the CROP Hunger Walk to support CWS and help families who are struggling with hunger. Please join us with your steps and your donations. Together we will provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them and create greater food security in communities around the world.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th. Walkers are welcome between 10am and 2pm.

An information table will be set up in the Gathering Area beginning on Sunday, September 27th. There you may make a contribution and/or sign up to walk.

2026 CROP Hunger Walk - New Hackensack Reformed Church

Join us at here at New Hackensack Reformed Church as Town Supervisor, Joey Cavaccini, presents “Town of Wappinger History and Scary Stories” at 5pm on Friday, October 16th. All are welcome for this FREE event!

Sherry Seney, your Integra Pregnancy Services liaison, is participating in this year’s “Walk for Life.” On October 4th at Bowdoin Park. "I believe in the work Integra is doing to support women, babies, and families in our community. Would you consider sponsoring me? I am grateful for your prayers in supporting this ministry." Wednesday morning workshops begin September 9th and run through December 2nd and are held from 9:30an-11:30am. We have simple craft kits and more to help get ready for our 50th Piggy Bank Bazaar on Saturday, December 5th. Volunteer sign-up sheets will go out soon for the day of the event!

Children and Worship starts back up again on Sunday, September 13th at 10am during service. We ask that any new children to the program be joined by a parent for the first few until they are comfortable. 

This April we have used our funds for some much-needed renovations to our church building. Our sanctuary down through the kitchen received a new roof. There have been many recent leaks, and it was time. Our beautiful 3 large stained-glass windows in the Sanctuary have also received some repairs. These windows came from the old church and were repurposed here, and they were beginning to become loose. We are very thankful and fortunate for all the donations we have received over the years to be able to take on such important repair needs.
