ONGOING PROJECTS

Ways we serve regularly

Low-Income Senior Housing Meals

NHRC provides a meal once a month for 40 low-income seniors is Dutchess County. Volunteers within the church sign up, provide and deliver them a full meal on the last Sunday of the month.

Liberty Station (Hudson River Housing)

They are in need of non-perishable food donations, hygiene products, and twin sheets and towels (new or nearly new). Donation boxes are located in the foot locker outside the entrance of the church by the Pastor's office, as well as in the Gathering Area inside the church.

Blood Drives

NHRC holds blood drives with Red Cross four times annually at our building.

Rural & Migrant Ministry

NHRC holds an annual dinner for the RMM children's summer camp, usually in August. NHRC volunteers provide and serve the dinner to the RMM campers, counselors and staff. In addition, NHRC holds a school supply collection for the migrant children each year at the start of school, as well as a Christmas Toy Store collection.

DCSPCA

Donations of dog, cat, puppy and kitten food are always welcome. Monetary donations are equally accepted. Checks can be made out and mailed to DCSPCA or made out to NHRC memoed DCSPCA and sent to the church office.
